Job Title: Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at ASM Pacific Technology, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expansion in the semiconductor industry. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the business development strategy for Laser and Plasma etching processes, identifying new markets, applications, materials, and customers to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business development strategy plan, aligning with internal stakeholders and key customers.
  • Position Business Development as a strategic resource and trusted advisor, building credibility by bringing innovative product and process ideas that support and advance the company's goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Marketing, R&D, Engineering, and Sales to ensure strategies and programs are aligned.
  • Develop and manage relationships with Fabless companies, promoting and managing the relationship for Laser and Plasma Cleaning technology.
  • Develop business and sales strategies at targeted OSATs and Tier 1 IDM companies, ensuring market and process roadmaps reflect their short- and long-term needs.
  • Create clear requirements for target companies, including process, hardware, and sales, to be shared within ALSI Sales and Marketing.
  • Network with world-leading R&D institutes and consultancy companies to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Investigate new technologies and applications that can create future business opportunities.
  • Partner with corporate ASMPT Business Development to develop, prioritize, and implement a comprehensive company and process strategy.
  • Support Marcom, white papers, presentations, and website content development.
  • Support sales with customer application and product CoO.
  • Benchmark product and process portfolio performance with top competitors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science, or technical business.
  • At least 10 years' prior industry-related business development experience.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor market and its applications.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex processes and technologies for customers.
  • Decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
  • Experience with MS-office 365 applications.
  • Independent, initiative, proactive, representative, and professional.
  • Creativity and willingness to travel abroad for 25% of the time.
