Electrical Design Engineer

ASM Pacific Technology (ASMPT) is a leading provider of assembly and packaging equipment, and we are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at ALSI. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of our laser dicing system, LASER1205.
Key Responsibilities- Develop electrical designs for the LASER1205 system, including laser systems, optics modules, mechatronic modules, and planar motion stages.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure electrical designs meet design requirements.
- Contribute to the prototyping and testing phase, and provide technical support for the successful deployment of the system at our customers.
- Work closely with the Systems Engineering Manager to ensure electrical designs meet human safety, machine safety, and environmental requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in electrical design and development.
- Experience with electrical design tools, such as E-Plan, and familiarity with Siemens Team Center.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think conceptually and pragmatically.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
