Senior Program Manager - Finance and Tax

The Senior Program Manager - Finance and Tax role is responsible for the active program and portfolio management of complex programs linked to the company and department strategy & objectives.

In the Business Development and Operations team, this role will specifically focus on managing programs related to Tax and Business Models topics. These programs play a vital role in helping the business navigate the rapidly changing financial regulatory environment.

The ideal candidate should have experience utilizing technology to address complex business challenges within the financial regulatory landscape.

The Senior Program Manager will ensure that roadmaps and plans align with business priorities, dependencies, and strategies, based on data and business needs. They will support business case creation, gather key requirements from various stakeholders, and oversee governance, planning, and execution for the programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and support on Program Management best practices
  • Lead and manage high-complexity programs
  • Drive scoping, planning, and documentation for programs
  • Define program objectives, requirements, and success criteria
  • Execute program plans to meet objectives on time
  • Track and report progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Establish effective governance and communication structures
  • Support teams in making quality decisions and prioritization
  • Identify synergies, opportunities, and risks across projects
  • Oversee the successful delivery of business initiatives
  • Encourage a culture of change management and growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders
  • Define and measure program success metrics
  • Prepare and lead workshops to support program delivery
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Solid experience in Finance/Tax or Business Model projects within FinTech and/or Payments
  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • Strong change management expertise
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to function well in ambiguity and drive solutions to complex problems
  • Focus on customer needs and expectations
