Job Title: Data Governance and Protection Specialist

ING is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Data Governance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's data is managed in a compliant and ethical manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data management policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Design and implement data protection controls to mitigate risks and ensure data security.
  • Provide guidance and training to data stewards and other stakeholders on data governance best practices.
  • Monitor and report on data governance metrics to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data protection regulations, and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data governance issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
