Job Overview
Robeco is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for further developing our wholesale and institutional business by leveraging your network and Robeco's brand recognition.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze and address clients' needs, focusing on institutional clients and their strategies.
- Develop and sell solutions, rather than simply promoting existing products.
- Have a deep understanding of financial institutions and their strategies, and leverage key specialists and team members to achieve sales targets.
- Assess and develop new opportunities, and stay up-to-date with emerging sales trends.
- Collaborate across departments to achieve sales targets and deliver high-quality client service.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in asset management, with a proven track record of selling investment solutions and strategies.
- Strong network of key decision-makers in the institutional and wholesale market in the Netherlands.
- Proven skills in client acquisition and relationship management, with a strong understanding of the asset management industry and its clients.
- Experience or interest in sustainability investing, with a VBA or CFA designation or a willingness to pursue one of these educations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
