About Action Sourcing

Action Sourcing is a key department within our company, responsible for managing, developing, improving, and setting direction in the areas of sourcing from Asia, Turkey Region, and within Europe.

Purpose of the Job

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in securing Action's purchases by finding the best production partners with the capability and capacity to support our network and growth ambitions, as well as the most competitive offers for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify potential suppliers for Action's needs.
  • Manage the supplier search process, including pre-qualification, product offers, and post-order activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, coordinating order management, product quality, and sustainability controls.
  • Travel to visit suppliers and trade fairs to establish new contacts and manage existing relationships.
  • Facilitate and coordinate factory evaluations and audits with our quality and sustainability teams.
  • Prepare and participate in buying trips with the Buying team, including quotations, sample arrangement, and trip planning.
  • Manage the administrative process for orders, including data input to Action systems and end-to-end order follow-up.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Purchase, Commerce, Supply Chain, or Management.
  • Over 3 years of work experience in sourcing/purchasing, preferably within retail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written knowledge of English, with Polish as a first or second language preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
