Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for coordinating production activities, optimizing processes, and collaborating with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Coordinate with production to plan customer orders according to scheduling restrictions, optimal batch sizes, and enter MPS- and work orders based on requested delivery dates, raw material availability, and production capacity.
  • Raw Materials Purchasing:
  • Order Management: Enter customer orders in the ERP system, according to agreed quantities, price, and send order acknowledgements.
  • Shipment of Customer Orders: Prepare shipping documents according to incoterms for clients and invoice shipped batches.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor or University level in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Language: Written and verbal English language.
  • Skills: Basic understanding of MS Office, familiar with planning- and logistic concepts.
