As a key member of our art and tech teams, you'll be responsible for researching and implementing new tools and techniques to stay ahead of the curve in VR development.

If you're passionate about innovation, have a solid understanding of rendering theory, and are an expert in Unreal Engine 4/5, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities:**

* Drive improvements and maintain the toolchain for art asset creation and optimization
* Innovate on techniques in asset creation to achieve the best visual results
* Lead high-level art-related decisions throughout the development cycle
* Train other artists in best practices, tools, and processes
* Optimize scenes and assets for an optimal player experience
* Research and implement technical improvements to our pipeline
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies related to VR optimization and asset creation

**Requirements:**

* Solid understanding of rendering theory from cutting-edge console to mobile
* Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5
* Expertise in optimization for high-end and mobile platforms
* Experience in managing people and aiding in their growth
* Strong technical insight from content creation to game deployment
* Affinity with workflow optimization and knowledge of Python

**Bonus Points:**

* Experience in VR development
* Substance Painter & Designer expertise
* High-level Houdini experience
* Programming skills in C++ and/or C#
* Understanding of CGFX and/or HLSL shader languages
* Modeling and texturing abilities
