About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide strategic regulatory advice to internal stakeholders and Adyen's customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and enabling business growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing regulatory guidance on complex payment and financial regulatory challenges;
- Leading regulatory engagements and managing relationships with regulators and supervisors;
- Anticipating and addressing key regulatory obligations and risks;
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the global business;
- Representing regulatory interests on various workstreams and products.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Counsel with a strong background in the payments, financial services, or fintech industry. Key qualifications include:
- 5+ years' experience in a regulatory and/or legal function;
- Strong knowledge of the European payments, financial services, or fintech industry;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to take ownership and initiative in a fast-growing business;
- Fluency in English and full proficiency in French or German is a plus.
