Credit Risk Model Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Risk Model Owner to join our team at ABN Amro. As a key member of our Model Ownership and Oversight department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of credit risk models, with a focus on Climate and Environmental Risk (CER) initiatives.
Your primary objective will be to ensure the quality and accuracy of our credit risk models, while also driving innovation and improvement in our risk management practices. You will work closely with our Modelling, Model Validation, and Model Risk Management teams to ensure that our models are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of credit risk models, with a focus on CER initiatives.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of our credit risk models, in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with our Modelling, Model Validation, and Model Risk Management teams to drive innovation and improvement in our risk management practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business lines, risk management, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on credit risk model design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Academic education in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in a relevant position, with a strong background in credit risk management.
- Knowledge of the CRD/CRR framework and credit risk model related regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and improvement in risk management practices.
We offer a competitive salary in pay scale 10 to 12, depending on your experience and qualifications. You will also receive a personal development budget of EUR 1,000 per year, an annual public transportation pass, and a solid pension plan.
