Credit Risk Model Ownership Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Model Ownership Specialist to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our Model Ownership and Risk team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire credit risk model life cycle, from design to decommissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that credit risk models are designed, implemented, and used in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain credit risk models, including Modelling Data, Risk Modelling, Regulatory Model Management, and Model Validation.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of credit risk models.
- Develop and maintain aggregated reports on credit risk model-related matters and share them with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of a proper model landscape and ensure the execution of a sound model life cycle process.
Requirements
- Academic education in a relevant field, such as Economics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline.
- At least 1-4 years of working experience in a relevant position.
- Familiarity with the CRD/CRR framework and credit risk model-related regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing, and fluency in English.
- Ability to explain the main concepts of credit risk models and work on detailed questions as well as overarching challenges.
