About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Rang to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the smooth operation of the restaurant service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food and beverages to guests.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and wine list, making recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of orders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new service standards and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum X years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Dutch as a plus.
