About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our OPEX Accounting Department in Breda. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing financial and accounting transactions, resolving related problems, and ensuring the accuracy of reported figures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process financial and accounting transactions, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Perform month-end tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reported figures
  • Prepare balance-sheet account reconciliations and ensure proper classifications
  • Support the wider finance team with additional ad-hoc tasks

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A relevant intermediate vocational education qualification (MBO+/HBO or equivalent)
  • Good knowledge of financial systems and ERP systems, such as Microsoft AX Dynamics
  • Key competencies: accurate, stress-resistant, focussed, hands-on, analytical, and problem-solving team player
  • Previous experience in an accounting role and knowledge of Accounts receivable and general-ledger-related tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills in English and Dutch
