Consumer Insights Research Assistant

As a key member of the Consumer Insights team, you will play a vital role in supporting the setup, coordination, and analysis of consumer studies. At IFF, we are committed to being a consumer-centric organization, and our Consumer Insights team is instrumental in product development processes. They conduct and analyze consumer research to understand how to fulfill consumer needs, providing valuable insights to support the Creative department and Marketing and Sales decisions. With a wide range of tools and methodologies at their disposal, the Consumer Insights team aims to be the voice of the consumer in IFF. We are seeking an intern to support us in this role.
Job Description
As a Consumer Insights Research Assistant, you will support the CI team with desk research, setting up questionnaires, test protocols, logistics, and data analysis. You will provide consumer product and fragrance insights, prepare results presentations, and assist the marketing analysts with building market intelligence. This is a 6-month internship with flexible duration and period, and you will be based in Hilversum (Netherlands) with the option to work from home for 2 days a week. You will receive a monthly allowance of €600, which includes potential commuting costs. This position does not allow for relocation, but candidates living in the Netherlands or willing to arrange their relocation are welcome to apply.
About You
We are looking for a student with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for consumer research. You should have a good knowledge of consumer research, with strong analytical, statistical, and modeling skills. Experience with online research tools and programming skills is a plus. You must have excellent scientific and professional English skills, both written and oral.
