We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts in the flavor industry, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a mix of regional and local flavor accounts, with a focus on achieving profitable sales growth and optimizing order patterns.
- Develop and execute account plans to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Creation, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage customer relationships to ensure timely delivery of orders and documents.
- Responsible for quotes and pricing negotiations, ensuring minimum sales prices are achieved.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or food technology.
- 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business sales management, preferably in the food ingredients/flavors industry.
- Strategic thinking, strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, with additional languages an advantage.
- Ability to create strong relationships with customers, work in a fast-paced environment, and travel approximately 40% of the time.
