This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of relevant experience who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Payment Operations Specialist will support the day-to-day financial operations, including customer invoicing, purchase to pay process, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and assisting in financial audits.

  • Invoice Management: Generate and process customer invoices based on contracts; handle vendor invoice processing and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Predictive Payments Coordination: Track and follow up with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure prompt payments, resolve any billing discrepancies, and maintain positive financial relationships.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Track, manage, and reconcile bank statements to ensure up-to-date and accurate financial records.
  • Closing Processes: Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries and VAT returns.
  • Audit Preparation: Participate in the annual audit process by compiling relevant documentation and supporting external auditors.
Key Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

  • 2-3 years in a relevant role (such as Accountant, Financial Assistant/Administrator, or Junior Financial Controller).
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets is required. Experience with accounting systems, especially Exact, is preferred.
  • Mindset: Self-starter with a proactive and flexible attitude, comfortable in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential.
