We are looking for a skilled Electromechanical Radar Engineer to join our team at Robin Radar Systems B.V. As an Electromechanical Radar Engineer, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of complex radar systems.

Rohan Radar Systems B.V. is a technology leader in tracking and classification of small objects. Our mission is to increase the safety of people and wildlife by preventing bird strikes in aviation, reducing the environmental impact of wind farms, and protecting humans and critical infrastructure against drones. We achieve this by combining purpose-built radars with unique software algorithms.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and installing high-tech radar systems. They will work independently, but never alone, and will also occasionally monitor junior technicians and guide them where necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex radar systems every day by screwing them together, connecting various electronic components, soldering, and making sub-assemblies;
  • Create work descriptions and test plans based on diagrams and layouts;
  • Ensure that our radars are very tightly constructed, both electronically and mechanically;
  • Install the correct software on laptops or servers that come with the radar;
  • Help test the radar, which may involve working outside at special test locations;
Requirements
  • An MBO 4 working and thinking level;
  • A Mechatronics course or technical course with mechatronics as a specialization;
  • At least 1-3 years of comparable work experience;
  • Experience in using measuring equipment to detect errors in electronic systems;
  • Precision, structured work methods, and a strong passion for technology;
