Job DescriptionAs a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for maintaining high service levels within our kitchen team, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation. Your primary objective will be to provide an exceptional culinary experience for our guests, exceeding their expectations and leaving a lasting impression.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menus, considering seasonal ingredients and dietary requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
- Excellent cooking skills, with a strong focus on presentation and flavor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and manage conflicts.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
