Job Description
As a seasoned Manager Engineering Blue Robotics at Fugro, you will be responsible for ensuring processes, tools, and resources are coordinated to successfully deliver on the required designs and developments of Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) and electric Remote Operated Vehicles (e ROVs) within our organization.

About the Role
The primary impact of this role is to lead and manage multiple engineering teams, ensure timely delivery, and high-quality engineering deliverables. You will work closely with the Director Blue Robotics and Innovation Director to make optimal use of people's skills across different teams and priorities.

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the team follows Fugro's standard engineering, design, and software development processes;
- Review and approve development plans and time estimates;
- Be responsible for effective resource scaling up & down if required;
- Coach teams in Agile/OKR work practices and to become more effective;
- Work with Director Blue Robotics, Innovation Director, and Team Leads to assure the right composition of people and talent in the engineering teams;
- Liaise with external innovation organizations to promote Fugro and attract new talent.

Requirements
- A MSc. or BSc. degree in an industry-associated engineering discipline, preferably in robotics, and significant experience in management (5+ years);
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills;
- Well-versed in the Agile methodology with 5+ years of experience;
- Ability to effectively share the 'wisdom' that comes from the required work experience;
- Proven experience in influencing and inspiring diverse groups of people sitting across various geographic locations to work as a team;
- A consistent track record of effective leadership;
- Excellent communication skills in English, encompassing both verbal and written proficiency.
