Job Title: Indirect Tax Transformation Manager

As a key member of the Vitol team, you will play a crucial role in driving the transformation of our indirect tax processes and tools. Your primary responsibility will be to improve existing processes and ensure that our indirect tax structure is well-prepared to support our continued growth and global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from design to implementation, collaborating with regional indirect tax teams, functional stakeholders, and MIS (IT) teams.
  • Automate and standardize current processes, implement indirect tax processes globally, create reports, perform data analyses, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Support regional indirect tax teams in finding technology solutions for new business and transactions.
  • Interact and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and regions, including the wider finance organization, MIS (IT) teams, operators, and tax authorities.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in tax or a related field, or equivalent experience in tax, finance, and accounting, or data mining.
  • 5+ years of experience in indirect tax as an external consultant or in an in-house role.
  • Experience in project management and user experience of desktop data analytics and automation tools.
  • In-house experience in the energy commodities industry is a plus.
