About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Engineer Service to join our team at Alfa Laval Nijmegen. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for the correct and timely execution and handling of quotations and orders for spare parts, as well as maintaining further development and growth of the spare parts service program.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Translating customer specifications and expectations into quotations;
- Preparing and drawing up quotations of spare parts;
- Coordinating and being responsible for the delivery of spare parts to customers;
- Maintaining and developing accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales;
- Maintaining communication with responsible sales support manager and sales support engineer about commercial feedback from customers;
- Processing nonstandard orders based on a Service Order Report;
- Setting up customer profile and calculation of customer value;
- Preparing spare parts (lists).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A technical degree on MBO or HBO level;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
- Preferably a few years of experience in a comparable environment;
- A creative and structured personality;
- Customer-oriented and commercially sensitive;
- A flexible response to customer needs.
