Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to join our European team at Lineage Logistics, a leading provider of temperature-controlled logistics solutions. This role will be based in our Rotterdam office and reports directly to the Director Tax Europe.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional with experience in the Big 4 accounting firm and/or tax roles in large global corporations to transition into an in-house tax position. As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in all aspects of our tax function, including acquisitions and restructurings, transfer pricing, tax accounting, tax compliance, and international tax projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist M&A advisors with tax due diligence and structuring for acquisitions and ensure integration of acquisitions into our global tax control framework.
  • Support tax planning strategies and legal entity reduction efforts.
  • Collaborate with external advisors to support tax compliance, Transfer Pricing filings, and tax audit and litigations.
  • Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of tax audits.
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company's financial statements and tax positions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners to facilitate effective communication and cooperation on tax-related matters.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive process improvements, optimize tax efficiency, and enhance overall financial performance.
  • Support US REIT testing and the implementation of REIT compliance strategies for Europe.
  • Monitor and improve the Global and European Transfer Pricing model.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Tax combined with a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in a public accounting firm and/or tax experience in a large global corporation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Dutch and international tax regimes/regulations.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
