Strategic Sales and Tender Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales/Tender Manager to join our team at Rometal Constructive Solutions, a leading provider of steel constructions and turn-key mission equipment for the maritime, on- and offshore industry.
Company OverviewRometal has established itself as a reliable partner for clients since its inception in 2000. With its headquarters in the Port of Rotterdam, the company offers direct access to water and well-equipped facilities in The Netherlands and Romania, enabling it to support clients effectively.
Job Responsibilities- Process and follow up on requests for quotations from existing and new (inter-)national clients
- Develop sales plans, arrange for analyses, and monitor trends
- Implement pro-active and professional client communication to achieve great customer satisfaction
- Ensure timely hand-over to the project department, enabling excellent project kick-offs, and align with colleagues to track relevant developments
- Manage and realize proper administration on quotations, orders, and contracts
- At least five years of experience in a commercial or project management position in the heavy construction and/or shipbuilding industry
- Bachelor or master degree in a technical direction
- Excellent communication and commercial skills, as well as self-starting, positive leadership, and technical/organizational skills
- A solid no-nonsense personality, stress-resistant, pro-active, and flexible
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
