About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor Regulations to join our Regulations & Policies Team at ABN AMRO. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the bank's risk management and regulatory compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply complex banking regulations, with a focus on Credit Risk regulations such as CRR III / Basel IV and EBA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory and risk management requirements are met, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of risk policies that guide the activities of the business and risk organization.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary projects to support larger regulatory change processes.
  • Represent the bank in regulatory dialogues, including on-site inspections and information requests from supervisors.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management within a financial institution or a financial supervisor, preferably with a focus on financial risks.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into actionable documents.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to colleagues with varying backgrounds and seniority levels.
  • Fluency in English is a must, with knowledge of Dutch preferred.
