We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Advisor to join our team at ABN AMRO. As a key member of our Regulations & Policies team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the bank's risk management strategies and providing guidance to senior management and the organization on regulatory applications and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and apply new regulations with a focus on enterprise and non-financial risks, including operational risks, sustainability risks, information risks, and continuity risks.
- Engage with internal stakeholders on non-financial regulatory and risk management requirements, providing solutions, advice, and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a consistent and useful set of risk policies that guide the activities of the business and risk organization.
- Support larger regulatory change processes, including ESG regulations, DORA, and BCBS239.
- Represent the bank in regulatory dialogues, including on-site inspections and information requests from supervisors (ECB/DNB).
- 5+ years of experience in risk management within a financial institution or a financial supervisor, preferably with a focus on non-financial risks.
- University master's degree in law, economics, business management, sustainability, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into actionable documents and implementation plans.
- Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
- A competitive gross monthly salary, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- A personal development budget of €1,000 per year, which can be accumulated up to €3,000.
