Job Summary


As a Procurement Account Supervisor at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and quality procurement of raw materials, packaging, and supply items. Your responsibilities will include raw material forecasting, purchasing, and scheduling to meet production demands at our Automotive manufacturing sites.


Key Responsibilities



  • Procure raw materials, packaging, and supply items in the required quantity and quality on time to maintain production flow.
  • Forecast raw material demand and place purchase orders accordingly to meet production requirements.
  • Responsible for purchasing to ensure responsiveness to production needs and to obtain the best possible quality.
  • Approve raw materials and some finished goods purchase orders as needed.
  • Issue or control purchase orders for all raw materials, plant supplies, and purchased finished goods at the plant, including order confirmation.
  • Maintain vendor files related to Purchase Orders and requisitions at the site.
  • Monitor vendor performance data and sub-standards to bring about corrective action.
  • Dispose and control of obsolete and surplus materials in collaboration with R&D, Warehouse, Planning, and QC.
  • Assist AP with Invoices that need assistance, e.g., wrong price or quantity.

Requirements



  • 3-5 years of experience in a procurement/buying role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Providing professional supply chain activities.
  • PC skills.
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Other applications as required.
  • Knowledge of at least one ERP system.
  • Dutch/English.
  • Assertiveness.
  • Able to work under stressful situations.
