Job Summary:

We are seeking a Process Owner HR Operations Payroll Assistant Manager to contribute to our objective 'Surprise Free Operations'. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing payroll process knowledge, identifying possible risks in the payroll process, and acting on them in a timely manner through mitigating measures and identifying possible optimizations and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Securing payroll process knowledge;
  2. Identifying possible risks in the payroll process and acting on them in a timely manner through mitigating measures and identifying possible optimizations and improvements;
  3. Ensuring consistency on the processes;
  4. Overseeing the entire process and ensuring connection between the different teams;
  5. Coordinating an unambiguous working method between the different countries;
  6. Analyzing and identifying possible bottlenecks or problems in the process;
  7. Interpreting the process statistics on a daily basis and anticipating them with the right communication and actions;
  8. Identifying points for improvement in the processes and working together with Transformation Services to implement them;
  9. Being a point of contact for the customer with regard to the daily operation.
Qualifications:

We seek a candidate who is able to make decisions quickly from different perspectives and within the set frameworks and think rationally. The ideal candidate will be able to cooperate well with colleagues, communicate openly and honestly, and share information proactively. They will be analytical and able to gather information from different places to answer a question or handle a request. Process-based working is their thing, and they can work well within set frameworks and processes but are curious and have the courage to think outside the comfort zone.

Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer a candidate with a very good command of the Dutch and English language and the ability to switch between them. They should be no stranger to the HR and Payroll field, aware of relevant laws and regulations, and understand how to read collective agreements. The ideal candidate will be analytically strong with a well-developed problem-solving ability, not let setbacks or obstacles knock them out easily, and be well able to receive feedback, regularly reflect on their performance, and have a huge drive to grow. They should be curious and interested in learning a lot in every area within our services, result-oriented, and love change. Experience in Payroll processes, working in a dynamic environment, and working in projects is an advantage.
