Senior Business Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Developer to join our team at Villari. As a Senior Business Developer, you will be responsible for landing and expanding our solution at our top 20 globally operating target accounts. Your primary goal will be to develop and execute a business plan that aligns with Villari's product-market fit proposition, achieving new customers, meeting revenue targets, and facilitating the growth of our business at these key accounts worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have an MSc degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with a proven track record in a commercial or business development-related position. You will be responsible for strategic partnering with engineering companies and selling our product together with them to our strategic accounts. In your day-to-day, you will generate new leads and build out relationships internationally.

As a Senior Business Developer, you will report directly to our VP of Business Development. You will incorporate the customer's perspective and wishes, and collaborate closely with our internal stakeholders in the operations and tech department to ensure further product development and successful delivery of sensor systems to our partners and their customers.

Our permanently installed wireless sensors detect even the smallest fatigue cracks in critical locations of bridges and cranes by analyzing variations in the magnetic field over time. What will you bring?

  • 8+ years of experience in a commercial role.
  • Proven track record of closing new deals with new and existing clients and ability to reach targets on a year-to-year basis.
  • Technical MSc degree in Engineering, Physics, or a similar field of study.
  • Strong analytical skills and a natural ability to persuade & build relations.
  • Excellent communication in English (Dutch, German, Spanish, or French is a plus).
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Ideally, you have experience in selling through strategic partnerships.
  • You live in The Netherlands and don't need a permit to work in The Netherlands.
