We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our team at Sovos Compliance. As a key member of our go-to-market organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales teams by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and designing tailored solutions involving business network integrations and data flow management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide domain expertise on eInvoicing and VAT compliance requirements across different jurisdictions, as well as EDI standards and protocols.
- Lead the client discovery process to uncover unforeseen challenges and ensure the proper Sovos data integration offering is proposed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Work closely with global sales teams to evangelize and present Sovos solutions as part of customers' ERP and finance transformation projects.
- Assist in creating compelling RFP and RFI responses for global Fortune 1000 pursuits.
- Maintain and continually improve industry knowledge and technical capabilities, conducting internal sales department training and customer presentation preparation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and software integration, with a focus on SAP or Oracle.
- Extensive knowledge of eInvoicing standards and frameworks, VAT compliance requirements, and EDI standards and protocols.
- Strong understanding of data integration technologies, middleware solutions, and data mapping tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
