Job Title: Director of Process Excellence

Join Stryker European Operations Limited - Dutch Branch Office as a Director of Process Excellence and lead the development and leadership of the continuous improvement and logistics engineering organization within Europe Logistics Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clear leadership and strategic direction for a team of logistics engineers, process analysts, etc. to set standards for "best in class" excellence in warehouse, VAS, and Kiting operations across Europe CDC and LRDs.
  • Drive a reputation of excellence by leading the team in developing standards and implementing a culture of daily improvement to improve customer satisfaction/experience, manage and reduce costs, enhance and develop processes, and support the creation and optimization of an end-to-end supply chain.
  • Lead reporting and periodic highlights on all key metrics related to service levels, total costs, freight costs, trade compliance, etc. to all relevant stakeholders across Europe Logistics Operations.
  • Support divisional and customer requirements and standards.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's/graduate degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Life Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
  • Formal training in (and experience with) Lean, Process Excellence, Six Sigma tools, etc. is required.
  • A post-graduate qualification in Engineering, warehousing, Logistics, or Operations would be strongly preferred.
  • APICS certification is highly preferred.
Experience:
  • Proven track record in Engineering or Continuous Improvement leadership within a multinational organization including 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain management, Engineering, Logistics, Operations, or related fields are required.
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-shift, automated, and labor-intensive distribution, logistics, manufacturing, and/or supply chain operations.
  • 10+ years' experience in a people management role with proven organizational development and planning expertise necessary to lead teams through continual changes while demonstrating high levels of engagement.
  • Prior experience in influencing multiple teams and groups across an international organization.
  • Prior experience in working in a multi-national and -cultural environment.
