THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an International Operations Intern at Indie Campers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front-office activities:
    • Provide top-notch customer service and sales support to our guests, including check-ins, check-outs, and processing payments.
    • Explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, and upsell road trip extras to enhance the guest experience.
  • Back-office activities:
    • Align reservations with available campervans, verify and prepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
    • Maintain the campervans in top condition, identify and act on possible maintenance or repair needs.
    • Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleet of campervans, and troubleshooting operational issues.

Requirements:

  • You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field looking for an internship.
  • You are fluent in English, have a work permit, and a valid driver's license (mandatory).
  • You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer service orientation.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
  • You want a dynamic internship where you can put your theoretical knowledge into practice.

What We Offer:

  • All internships are compensated, with the amount depending on location, country, and region (accommodation is not included).
  • Online and on-the-job training to develop relevant skills, including guest relations, customer service, problem-solving, communication, team spirit, organization, time management, fleet coordination, supplies management, and logistics.
  • International opportunities and the possibility of integration into Indie Campers after the internship.
