Project OverviewOur research focuses on the engineering of hybrid ceramic membranes for the concentration of saline streams by electrodialysis. This project aims to combine the advantages of well-designed porous ceramic nanostructures with organic surface functional groups to develop high-performance membranes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop hybrid ceramic membranes with optimized properties for electrodialysis
- Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of the developed membranes
- Collaborate with the Inorganic Membranes group at the MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology
- Participate in regular meetings and work visits with external partners
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Chemistry, or a related field
- Excellent experimental, analytical, and communication skills
- Fluency in English and ability to collaborate with external parties
- Full-time PhD position for 4 years
