Postdoctoral Researcher in Sustainable Binder Development

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at TU Delft's Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences. The successful candidate will be part of the Pavement Engineering group and contribute to the development of sustainable binders for road infrastructure.
Research FocusThe postdoctoral researcher will focus on developing a compatible, eco-friendly sustainable binder by analyzing each component's inherent characteristics. The research will also involve assessing the durability of this sustainable binder using experimental characterization and Molecular Dynamics simulations.
Requirements- PhD in Material Science, Process Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- Strong background in multidisciplinary research, Molecular Dynamics modelling, and optimization processes
- Excellent scientific track record and ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
