Zurich Insurance Benelux is seeking a talented and experienced underwriter to join our team. As an Accident and Health Underwriter, you will play a key role in developing and executing underwriting strategies for the Dutch market.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement underwriting strategies for Accident and Health business in the Dutch market.
- Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities and serve as key contact for assigned target accounts and brokers.
- Provide an effective, timely and efficient account management service to partners and brokers.
- Monitor underwriting processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Actively cross- and up sell on accounts across A&H and other Lines of Business.
- Comply with key regulatory and risk management responsibilities.
- Assist the line of business manager in producing reports or completing specific projects, as required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience underwriting in the insurance sector, preferably in A&H.
- Must have a proven track record in a commercial role.
- Prior experience in (international) affinity and/or travel schemes is highly desirable.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, French fluency is an added bonus.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop new propositions and concepts, self-starter who is ambitious and motivated.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and structured work approach required.
