The Senior Manager of Financial Operations will lead the international billing process for Global Customer Finance Operations, overseeing order-to-cash processes for various NBCUniversal businesses. This role reports to the Senior Director of GCFO Operations and requires a strong understanding of financial operations, process governance, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead the O2C operations team and the BPO, providing clear guidance and goals.
- Establish, monitor, and report end-to-end process metrics and KPIs to measure service levels, operational effectiveness, process health, and process compliance.
- Understand BPO SLAs and deliverables and execute accordingly.
- Proactively monitor and anticipate changing business, regulatory, and financial requirements, processes, and practices.
- Work closely with GCFO and BPO leads in resolving and monitoring delivery services.
- Drive continuous and sustainable improvements.
- Ensure adequate process documentation and training materials are developed and maintained.
- Liaise with BPO and GCFO leads on timely review and updates to the Desktop Procedures, reports, and other activities.
- Maintain a strong relationship with internal stakeholders to drive improvements by designing, negotiating, persuading business owners.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a finance-related area.
- Minimum 6-8 years' experience in a similar position within an international environment, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Experience in licensing or royalty-based contracts.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire high performance within a high-paced environment.
- Proactive coach and mentor, positive influencer, with a demonstrated background in developing team skills.
- Ability to lead an off-site team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Persuasive communicator, with the ability to work across functions and manage key stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively present business initiatives and project plans.
- Proven project management skills.
- Fluent in English, with another European language preferred.
- Lean or six-sigma aptitude is preferable.
- Experienced CRM user, preferably SAP.
