**Job Title:** Functional Test Engineer

**Job Description:**

At Yacht, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Test Engineer to join our System Integration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and analysis of functional engine test activities across various engine development projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Prepare and execute functional tests or investigations on engine sub-systems and components, including their controls.

• Coordinate test setup and test execution, ensuring seamless collaboration with project teams.

• Evaluate and report test results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

• Focus on engine mechanics and mechatronics, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations.

• Maintain existing Engine Test Standards under your responsibility, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

• Develop new test procedures for engine components and systems, collaborating with specialists to enhance test efficiency and quality.

• Contribute to the improvement of test efficiency and test quality, driving excellence in our test operations.

• Collaborate with project teams, providing expert opinions and supporting risk identification and reduction.

**Requirements:**

• Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering;

• Knowledge of internal combustion engines and aftertreatment, as well as sub-systems like fuel systems and lubrication systems.

• Familiarity with modern engine controls, sensors, actuators, and electronics.

• Willingness to develop experience in measurement techniques for temperature, pressure, flow, and data analysis.

• Enthusiasm for dealing with complex engine systems and developing solutions for technical challenges.

• Strong English skills are mandatory, with Dutch skills being a plus.

• Ability to work in a complex project-oriented environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

**Benefits:**

• Contract through Yacht for at least 1 year, with a salary range based on highest earned degree and years of experience.

• Salary range between € 4,200 and € 6,200 gross per month, based on 36 hours a week (excluding holiday allowance of 8.33%).

• 37.5 hour work week.

• Home office budget of € 750 and annually a budget of € 3,500 for following courses to further develop in your career.
