We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our Global Procurement team in the Color Cosmetic Packaging Category. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of color cosmetic packaging materials and supplies, with a focus on delivering cost savings, innovation, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a category strategy and roadmap to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage a spend of approximately USD 70M-100M and build a cost-efficient and flexible supply chain to deliver sustainable savings and innovation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, procurement teams, and business leaders.
- Source and benchmark suppliers to drive optimum supplier strategy and negotiate best-in-class contracts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of products, quality of service, and cost effectiveness.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of market and industry intelligence to inform procurement decisions.
- At least 8+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior buyer or equivalent role.
- Relevant experience in the beauty or FMCG sector is a strong plus.
- Experience working in an international environment and matrix organization.
- Degree qualified in procurement, engineering, business, or other relevant discipline. MBA advantageous.
- Master the English language on a near-native level.
