The Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) Electron Microscopy business is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Manager, Market Development to drive business growth and expansion. As a key member of our Strategy and Innovation team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new market segments, developing strategic partnerships, and driving business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute market development strategies to drive business growth and expansion
- Identify and evaluate new market segments and opportunities for business development
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers and stakeholders
- Drive business development initiatives, including market research, competitive analysis, and sales strategy development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to drive business growth and expansion
Requirements:
- University degree (or similar) in a relevant scientific field (e.g. Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering)
- Validated understanding of electron microscopes or materials characterization techniques
- Proven managerial experience with leadership and mentorship skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
