Join Our Team as a Sustainability Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious student to join our COO Retail Sustainability team as a Sustainability Intern. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to ING's global sustainability strategy.

About the Role

As a Sustainability Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Sustainability in Operations team. Your tasks will include:

  • Supporting the collection and analysis of environmental footprint data
  • Engaging colleagues to improve our environmental footprint through campaigns
  • Integrating climate action objectives into COO Banking operations
  • Managing and developing the internal COO Sustainability Intranet community
  • Providing administrative support to COO Green Guild meetings, events, and project coordination activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master or Bachelor (third year bachelor) degree in Sustainability, Sustainable Development, Banking Operations, Data Analysis, Communication, or a related field
  • Strong organisational/project management skills
  • Problem analysis and judgment
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • High ambition/energy level
  • Teamwork
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in business English is required and oral proficiency in Dutch is preferred
