We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Environment Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join our Cloud Operations & Innovation team at Microsoft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the critical infrastructure that keeps our datacenters up and running.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment and grounds regularly for unsafe or abnormal conditions.
- Utilize internal computerized maintenance management systems to track equipment assets and complete work order requests for maintenance work.
- Safely and quickly respond to and lead onsite incident response teams for all abnormal conditions that impact operations.
- Enhance, develop new, or follow preexisting emergency operating procedures, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures in relation to CE operations and incidents.
- Perform various types of maintenance and repairs following methods of procedure and standard operating procedures for one or more types of equipment.
- Completed High/Secondary School, an apprenticeship/vocational qualification, or equivalent.
- Strong mission critical services work experience or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.
- Associate degree or technical trade certification, or higher-equivalent education.
