Offshore Consent Manager Netherlands Transformation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Consent Manager to join our Benelux Offshore Development Department in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a key role in permitting and compliance, guiding bid promises through the execution phase, and supporting specialist teams with permit and legal obligations. They will focus on obtaining permits during the development phase, prior to construction of windfarms and innovations.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with authorities involved in permitting and legislative processes;
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with permits, standards, and procedures in the area of responsibility;
- Advise joint venture partners on consenting issues;
- Negotiate consenting agreements with partners, authorities, and stakeholders on behalf of the business;
- Monitor and anticipate consenting issues, proposing mitigation strategies;
- Apply RWE best practices and processes.
- A master's degree in spatial planning, renewable energy, engineering, or an equivalent qualification;
- Several years of permitting experience;
- Proven experience in consenting procedures, including management advisory;
- Familiarity with offshore environmental, spatial planning, and mining legislation;
- Knowledge of reporting methods, project planning, organisation, and project management;
- Preferably experience in the offshore renewable energy industry;
- Fluency in Dutch is essential.
- An attractive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience;
- Flexible working in the office and remotely (hybrid working) and equipment with company mobile phone and company laptop;
