About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DC Supervisor to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the flow of parts to, from, and between our various buildings on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the movement of parts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.
- Lead a team of four team leads, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Focus on continuous improvement, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team and customers on a daily basis to ensure seamless communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Higher education (HBO) or equivalent ability.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
- A coaching leadership style, with a focus on developing and empowering team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
