We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our sales organization, you will work closely with sales representatives to support their technical needs and provide expert guidance on network security solutions.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to grow your career with a leading global cybersecurity company. Our ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer, with a strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint
  • Be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/educate customers on issues ranging from features, specifications, and functionality to integration
  • Conversant with networking applications and solutions
  • Post-sales - be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate, and resolve customer's technical issues
  • Provide assistance to identified customers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5 – 8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
  • 5 - 8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
  • Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus technologies
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
  • Strong presentation skills
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
