Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts in the flavor industry, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a mix of regional and local flavor accounts, with a focus on achieving profitable sales growth and optimizing order patterns.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Creation, and Marketing, to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage customer relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Responsible for quotes, pricing negotiations, and ensuring minimum sales prices are achieved.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or food technology.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business sales management, preferably in the food ingredients/flavors industry.
  • Strategic thinking, strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to translate customer needs into solutions.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, with additional languages an advantage.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time, primarily within the Benelux region and other European locations.
