Salary Package


We offer an estimated annual salary ranging from 120,000 to 180,000 USD, depending on qualifications and experience. This competitive package also includes an excellent international insurance policy based on European standards.


Job Description


A Heavy Duty Mechanic at Protea Maritime Connection is responsible for performing technical and troubleshooting repairs of marine engines in our land-based workshop. As a shore engineer, you will maintain heavy duty equipment, electrical equipment, and wet equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To excel in this role, you should possess:



  • Expertise in technical and troubleshooting repairs of marine engines;
  • A background as chief engineer in fishing or offshore industry;
  • Team player with strong communication skills;
  • Safety awareness, conscious, and reliable;
  • Adaptable to harsh environments;
  • Ability to work long hours (minimum 12 per day);
  • Confidence with modern technology and computer systems;
  • Possession of valid certifications relevant to the position.
