The Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Response Specialist to join our team. As an Emergency Response Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to individuals in critical emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess situations and share information with precision
- Display great attention to detail while handling multiple communication tools simultaneously
- Provide empathetic and professional support to individuals in emergency situations
Requirements
- Native/C1 in German, both oral and written, Fluent in English (at least B2+ level) to effectively liaise with stakeholders
- Emergency Services/Dispatcher qualification/experience from 6 months onwards is essential
- Proven experience in emergency response and/or working in high-pressure emergency communication center environments is preferred
- Experience in emergency dispatch, healthcare, military, firefighting, law enforcement, or security is highly valued
- Strong assessing skills with the ability to share information with precision and display great attention to detail is essential
- Prior experience working with a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) application is a strong advantage
- Full working proficiency with Microsoft Office is necessary
- Sound knowledge of laws, protocols, and compliance within an emergency services environment is preferable
- Ability to work rotating schedules, including days, nights, and weekends, as this will be a 24/7 operation with 5 days on and 2 days off per week
- Holder of a recent CPR certification is an advantage
- Ability to work from home about 10% of the time is required
