Acute Monitoring: Accelerating Patient Recovery
Our Acute Monitoring team is dedicated to delivering minimally-invasive treatments that reduce complications and accelerate patient recovery. Our goals are to:
- Save patients' lives by preventing complications and never-events, accelerating patient recovery, and avoiding hospital readmission.
- Deliver innovation by introducing new products and services, defining new standards of care, and improving patient recovery from hospital to home.
- Contribute to Medtronic growth by making a difference in Acute Monitoring with a full portfolio of high-end products and cost-effective solutions.
- Provide a promising development path in a positive and collaborative work environment by empowering our people with strong skills aligned to customer and patient needs.
- Address 3 costly patient conditions: Respiratory Compromise, Cerebral & Somatic Compromise, and Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI).
A Day in the Life
As a Sales Representative for Acute Monitoring Advanced Critical Care, your main purpose is to sell the clinical value of our products based on clinical expertise, focusing on the West-Netherlands region. Your objectives are to address market access barriers, accelerate adoption of new technologies, expand utilization for consumables/sensors, and improve outcomes for patients.
Your Responsibilities
You will be primarily responsible for selling our Advanced Critical Care products to hospitals and related healthcare professionals, managing quality and consistency of product and service delivery, and building strong ethical business relationships with customers. You will also cooperate and coordinate activities with the Acute Monitoring team, Sales Account Manager, and Inside Sales team to maximize business opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
Some of your key accountabilities will include:
- Achieving agreed budgets, focused on sales growth.
- Preparing presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Coordinating offers, handling complaints, and back orders.
- Organizing and coordinating product demos and workshops.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a solid medical background, proven ability in sales, and commercial experience in the medical device industry. You should be fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and written, and have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and proficiency in using modern multi-media tools, sales systems, and CRM.
