We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team at ASML. As a mechanical engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a dynamic project that involves investigating the behavior of flexible hoses in fluid and thermal designs.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate existing literature on the topic of flexible hoses and their mechanical behavior
- Create numerical models to simulate the behavior of flexible hoses
- Compare results with experimental evidence and match the models
- Develop ad hoc test cases to validate the numerical simulations
- Examine the influence of boundary conditions, part-to-part variation, and the impact of the surroundings
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- Good knowledge of mechanics, mechanical dynamics, and theory of vibrations
- Experience in static and dynamic calculations (FEM analysis)
- Proactive approach and curiosity-driven mind
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
