Key Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer at Marel, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our machines at customer sites. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and executing the controls part of installation jobs.
- Conducting service visits and troubleshooting production issues at customers' sites.
- Managing local employees in larger installation projects.
- Keeping in touch with and reporting to customers about your progress.
- Training customers and providing feedback to your colleagues.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work with advanced equipment and develop your skills as a specialist in your field. You will work in a team with experienced coworkers who will teach you all the knowledge they have about our machines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering, or a vocational level degree in the same area with several years of relevant experience. You will also need to have experience with or an interest in electrical cabinet rebuild, software installation/configuration, and/or troubleshooting PLCs.
