Job Title: PA and Safety Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PA and Safety Support Engineer to join our team at CS GROUP. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and monitoring the implementation of PA&S requirements by contractors, ensuring the implementation of the Space Segment PA&S Requirements baseline, and supporting the process for evaluation and approval of contractors' waivers and deviations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding and monitoring the implementation of PA&S requirements by contractors;
  • Ensuring the implementation of the Space Segment PA&S Requirements baseline;
  • Supporting the process for evaluation and approval of contractors' waivers and deviations;
  • Participating in the Boards established within the project for the disposition of Non-conformances / Failure Reviews, Test Reviews, etc.
  • Monitoring the integration and test activities with test witnessing, mandatory and key inspection points, configuration inspections and quality assurance audits;
  • Supporting the definition of the formal acceptance requirements and conduction of acceptance reviews of all assigned contractual deliverable items;
  • Ensuring the preparation of design trade-offs, analyses and reports using RAMS data to support project decisions;
  • Supporting the approval process and monitoring the procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes and controlling the implementation of applicable requirements;
  • Supporting launch campaigns as required;
  • Supporting Security activities for space segment as appropriate;
  • Supporting the maintenance of the Navigation Directorate Quality Management System as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering discipline is required;
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience Product and Quality Assurance in the space sector; proven record of Product and Quality Assurance activities for spacecraft units;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree of organizational and communication abilities, and comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
